Description
This roll is made from a navy blue waxed cotton canvas with a tightly woven striped second hand blind fabric as the lining. As the outer fabric is waxed it shouldn’t be put in the washing machine but it is resistant to water and stains.
It is handmade by me, Lydia (@reaptextiles), and all the the fabrics I use are sourced second hand, used or unused, or as factory seconds. It is important to me to use sustainably sourced materials and to make use of a range of fabrics which are already in existence rather than buying new ones.
